There is nothing i like more than looking forward to Thanksgiving, and my favorite part is the
Turkey Stuffing. There are a million variations of this age old tradition but there are only a few that
never get old. Here is one of my favorite Turkey Stuffing Recipe.
Ingredients:
1 lb of Mild Italian sausage
3 crispy apples, dice them to 1/4 inch cubes
3 stalks of celery, chopped finely
1 large Spanish Onion, diced finely
3 cloves garlic, diced and chopped finely
1 tsp each onion and garlic powder
Pinch of sugar
Salt and pepper to season
14 oz of toasted cheese bread
1 cup Swansons chicken broth
1 cup of White Wine
1 cup Fresh Apricot (leave them out to dry just a little)
1/2 cup chopped Chestnuts
Directions: Begin by frying up the sausage and draining the fat off . Crumble the sausage when it cools. Next, gently sauté the apples, celery and onions in olive oil until translulent
Put the croutons in a large mixing bowl. Slowly pour in the chicken broth and the wine until the bread is moist. Add the sautéed items along with the apricots and pecans. Mix well until it is uniform in texture
Salt and Pepper to season and then pour the stuffing into an oiled oven dish baking at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
This by far is my favorite Turkey Stuffing Recipe ENJOY
